Tom Walsh has been living in Cortlandt since 2009. He is originally from upstate, Watertown, New York and moved to Westchester in the spring of 1998. Tom is married to Meghan (O’Sullivan) Walsh, a Cortlandt Manor resident since the age of two. They have two children, Tommy, 11 and Maggie 9 who attend schools within the Hendrick Hudson School District. They share their home with Molly and Irish, their two rescue dogs. He enjoys spending time with my family. When he is not running around to activities for the kids, he enjoys camping, hunting, fishing, golfing in the summer, and skiing in the winter.
Tom attended SUNY Canton and earned Degrees in Engineering and Construction Management. Tom has been employed by Burnham Nationwide, Inc. in New York City since June 1998. He started as a Project Manager and worked his way up to Executive Vice President and Director of NY Operations. Burnham Nationwide specializes in Building/Zoning Code Consulting and Building Permit Expediting.
In 2018, he was appointed to the Town of Cortlandt Zoning Board of Appeals and is currently serving as a board member. Tom is also serving on the newly formed North Cortlandt Visionary Committee. He’s a member of the SUNY Canton College Foundation Board of Directors, a Member of the Building Owners & Managers Association, & Benevolent Order of the Elks. He was his son's Cub Scout leader for 5 years until he crossed over to the Boy Scouts last Spring. Tom is also a Life Member of the National Rifle Association.
Tom is looking forward to being part of a team that will work to solve the challenges that lay ahead for our Town.
